Jen Koevary, PhD

Chief Operating and Financial Officer and Board Member

Jen Koevary has served as Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Avery Therapeutics Inc. since 2016, developing operational and financial strategy and managing company daily business operations.

Dr. Koevary’s passion is to advance new medical technologies to improve health and wellbeing worldwide. Her career in academia and industry has focused on medical device research and development and business development, working on programs spanning imaging tools and diagnostics, class III medical devices and consumer products. She has also managed university technology development and educational programs for improving readiness of university technology for out-licensing.

Dr. Koevary earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a BS in Health Sciences, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a minor focus in medical imaging at the University of Arizona. She also holds a minor and certificate in Entrepreneurship from the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship.
