Lawrence Mehren, MBA

Lawrence Mehren served as the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Accelerate Diagnostics (Nasdaq AXDX) from 2012 to 2020. Before this, Mr. Mehren served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. from 2007 until 2008, and as Head of Global Business (Chief Operating officer) from 2008 until 2011, and helped facilitate acquisition of Ventana Medical Systems by Roche for $3.4B. Previously, he was Managing Director, Partner and head of P&M Corporate Finance’s life sciences practice. Prior to his tenure at P&M, Mr. Mehren worked in management positions with Gale Group, a division of The Thomson Corporation, as well as with Merrill Lynch. Larry holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
